Newlyweds Trek Through Oklahoma On Cross-Country Bike Tour

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Meet Adam Coppola and his wife Christy. The Connecticut newlyweds are on an incredible journey biking through all 50 states.

Their cross-country trek brings together the couple's passion for the outdoors and giving to others.

On Thursday, the bicycling couple were traveling from Lake Keystone to Tulsa.

"The people have really surprised me," said cyclist Adam Coppola. "The people we've met, the different cultures of different areas of the country, different foods. You know, it's really been a wonderful part of the trip is meeting everyone."

The trip is not just about seeing the world.

"Basically what we're doing is raising money for two different charities. Charities that are close to home; both of them have been inspired by our brothers," Christy Coppola said.

Adam and Christy are camping a lot, but they're also grateful to strangers for giving them food and shelter in sometimes harsh conditions.
