TULSA, Oklahoma -- Police officers discovered a meth lab inside a Tulsa motel late Monday night and the man arrested in the case is a suspect in a fire that heavily damaged a West Tulsa apartment complex in November.
Tulsa Police say they discovered two stolen pickup trucks in the parking lot of the Econolodge at Admiral and Garnett around 10:15 a.m. After speaking with management, officers started knocking on doors to find out who had parked them there.
While questioning guests, officers discovered components of a meth lab in one of the rooms.
Police arrested 26-year-old Joshua Dalrymple of Tulsa on a complaint of endeavoring to manufacture meth and two outstanding warrants, but say they couldn't connect him to the stolen trucks.
Dalrymple is accused of operating a meth lab that started a fire at the Overlook Apartments at 6339 South 33rd West Avenue last fall.
The warrants for Dalrymple concerned a first-degree arson and the manufacture of a controlled and dangerous substance charges stemming from the November 11, 2010 apartment fire.
