Recovery Of Pickup Truck In Fatal Will Rogers Turnpike Crash Pushed Back A Day

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is they have delayed the removal of a pickup truck involved in a deadly crash on the Will Rogers Turnpike at the Spring River bridge from Friday to Saturday.

MIAMI, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is they have delayed the removal of a pickup truck involved in a deadly crash on the Will Rogers Turnpike at the Spring River bridge from Friday to Saturday.

OHP originally wanted to remove it Friday morning, but had to push it back because of hazardous road conditions along that portion of the turnpike in Ottawa County. 

Two wrecker firms have agreed to donate their time and equipment to pull the pickup truck out of the river and onto the bank. 

Weather permitting; OHP will remove the truck at 10 a.m. Saturday.
