No Trash Service In Tulsa Saturday, City Announces

TULSA, Oklahoma -- There will be no trash or recycling pickup on Saturday, February 5, the City of Tulsa announced Friday.

City crews tried servicing a few once-a-week customers on Thursday as they evaluated road conditions. After assessing many neighborhood streets, city staff and the contract company Tulsa Refuse Inc. decided the risk is too high to try to pick up trash on Saturday.

Conditions will be re-evaluated on Sunday when they will make another announcement mid-day about Monday's trash and recycling pickup.
