TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa firefighters had to tear down parts of the roof in a woman's home early Friday morning after a fire breaks out in her attic.

The fire happened on East 51st Place around 12:30 a.m. Firefighters say a woman called about heavy smoke in her home saying she was concerned about her pets.

Once firefighters arrived, they had a hard time reaching the fire to put it out.

It's not clear what sparked the fire.
