TULSA, Oklahoma -- All this snow is a big inconvenience for some. But dozens of University of Tulsa students put it to some good use Wednesday afternoon.

No classes, no problem. When weighing their options, studying or snowball fight, these students chose snowball fight.

They poured onto the lawn at TU to face off: athletes versus the Greeks.

Each side went to great lengths, trying to gain the upper hand... only to end up face first. And this dry, powdery stuff isn't premium snowball material.

So, balling up snow was quickly abandoned for scooping and tossing it at ones opponent or simply chasing your dueler into a snowy submission.

The 15 degree temperature didn't seem to shake them. Even those covered from head to toe.

And when victory was declared, this massive campus snow fight got so furious you could barely see in front of you, let alone who was winning.
