Former KOTV Personality Betty Boyd Remembered

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Friends, family and fans said goodbye to a former Tulsa television personality, state lawmaker and TV pitchwoman.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Tulsa's First Baptist Church for Betty Boyd.

She started her television career right here on Channel 6, then worked at KTUL, and eventually became the first great-grandmother to serve in the Oklahoma house.

Boyd died last week from complications of a stroke. She was 86.
