BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- A tip led officers from the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force to 23-year-old Mario Phenix late Wednesday night in Broken Arrow.
Phenix was wanted in connection with a shooting death on New Year's Eve in Broken Arrow.
Broken Arrow Police say Mario Phenix was being aided by his brother, Malon Phenix who was also arrested for harboring a fugitive.
Mario was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on charges of first degree murder and shooting with intent to kill.
Twenty-year-old Nicholas Martin of Tulsa, died as a result of the shooting. A second shooting victim was treated at a Broken Arrow hospital and released.
