Homeless Persons Blamed For Vacant Tulsa House Fire

The home is vacant and investigators believe the fire was started by a group of homeless people staying in the structure.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa firefighters battled a fire early Thursday morning in midtown Tulsa.

Shortly after midnight crews were called to a house on 4th Street just west of Utica.

When crews arrived to the scene they found smoke pouring out of a back bedroom.

The home is vacant and investigators believe the fire was started by a group of homeless people staying in the structure trying to stay warm.
