Drivers Encounter Orange Barrels On Tulsa's Broken Arrow Expressway

TULSA, Oklahoma -- It's a traffic mess on Tulsa's Broken Arrow Expressway going in and out of the downtown area. 

The traffic cones and orange barrels are up and traffic east and west between 15^th Street and Utica is restricted. 

Only two lanes are open in each direction. 

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has closed the outside lane and right shoulder in both directions. 

If you are headed westbound all exit ramps are open, but if you are headed eastbound, you cannot get off at Utica. 

The reason, ODOT is rehabing bridges over Utica and St. Louis in a project that will last for at least five months.
