BIXBY, Oklahoma -- Some students at Bixby Public Schools are back in cleaner classrooms after the Christmas break.

Mold forced students at Brassfield 5th and 6th Grade Center to relocate for the last two weeks of the semester.

During the past month, contractors replaced the school's carpet with tile and cleaned the building from top to bottom.

"Replaced every bit of base molding with brand new molding. Cleaned every single surface, every wall, the top of every locker, every smart board, every chair every stand, everything," Principal Erin Jones said.

The school's principal says air quality tests show the school is safe.
