A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for much of northeastern Oklahoma until 12 PM. A cold front swept through the region overnight, resulting in the air temperature cooling off to the dewpoint temperature - a measure of moisture. Once this occurred, the air was saturated enough for the development of fog. The fog will gradually dissipate after noon.
While traveling this morning, make sure to use your low beams and not your high beams. The fog will scatter your bright beams more than your low beams, resulting in even greater reduced visibilities.
Drive safe my friends!
