TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are looking for a person of interest in Saturday's murder of an Oklahoma Army National Guardsman. Jerry VanEllen was shot and killed while attempting to defend his family from two armed men Saturday, December 18, 2010, officers say.

Michael Morris Taylor is wanted for questioning in this Tulsa homicide. He is a 19-year-old black male, 5'11" and 160 pounds.

Police say VanEllen was inside his home in the 5800 block of South 87th East Avenue when two armed men entered the house and demanded money. When VanEllen chased the intruders from the residents he was shot and killed.

It was Tulsa's 58th homicide of 2010.
