TULSA, Oklahoma -- An Oklahoma puppy mill dumped dozens of dogs at Tulsa's animal shelter.
Veterinarians say the animals were mistreated. Some are missing hair, others have eye infections, or rotting teeth and will need care before they'll find new homes.
"They haven't ever had love and attention so they don't know how to live in a home," said Sarah Gordon, a veterinarian. "So if anybody's willing to foster or adopt, you guys can come out and look at them, put your name on them, and when they're healthy and ready to go, they'll, they'll be yours.
Animal advocates say strict new Oklahoma laws are forcing bad breeders out of the business. This is the third puppy mill to shut down and dump their dogs at animal shelters in the past six weeks.
