KANSAS CITY, Missouri -- A Missouri county Medical Examiner has ruled the death of a Tulsa man earlier this month at a Kansas City restaurant as a homicide.

Kansas City Police say 31-year-old Doug Tipton collapsed and died during an incident at the Kona Grill on December 9, 2010.

Tipton's death was Kansas City's 100th homicide of the year.

Police say detectives are still interviewing witnesses before they send their report to the prosecutor's office for review.

Doug Tipton was the owner of a Tulsa business.
