I'm running slightly behind schedule this morning and will keep the discussion short and simple today.
We're tracking two storm systems over the next few days. The first one arrives this afternoon with the second system brushing our area Friday. We may see a period of fog or drizzle today near or north of the warm front and the possibility of some light snow flurries Friday.
The warm front will lift northward today as a broad area of low pressure at the surface moves west to east this afternoon. Temperatures south of the boundary could be much warmer with highs in the lower 60s across southern OK. Some locations across north Texas may hit the lower or mid 70s!
More cold air will arrive tomorrow with morning lows near 30 and highs in the lower 40s.
Friday as the second system approaches, some light snow is likely across western OK and we may see a few flurries or light rain showers across our area. I have kept the chance rather low for Tulsa, but higher chances will be likely across the western third of the state.
The weekend appears dry but cool with morning lows in the 20s and afternoon highs in the 40s.
