TULSA, Oklahoma -- A car burst into flames early Tuesday morning after it was hit by a pickup truck at the intersection 71st and Sheridan.

Tulsa Police say at about 2:30 a.m., an officer saw a pickup truck, heading south on Sheridan, run a red light at the intersection.

A second later, he say the pickup truck struck by a westbound car which then caught on fire.

Two people inside the car were able to escape uninjured.

The driver of the pickup truck was arrested by officers on suspicion of DUI.
