Warrant Issued For Man Suspected In Several Tulsa Armed Robberies

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa bank was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday morning.

Police were dispatched to a report of a robbery at the Bank of America branch at 7843 East Admiral Place.  Officers got the initial call at 9:09 a.m.  

No was injured during the robbery.

Tulsa Police were looking for a black male, 5'11" to 6', weighing 180 to 215 lbs., who fled the bank on foot into a nearby neighborhood.

Police said a man resembling the suspect's description robbed a Check N Go branch at 2146 S Sheridan Wednesday afternoon.  Police said the suspect entered the store with a black semi auto pistol and demanded money.  Officers said the suspect put the cash into his pocket before leaving.  Police said he was wearing a black cap, a black coat, blue jeans, and white shoes.

Police said, in both cases, the suspect resembles the description of 24-year-old Michael Jacobs, wanted for the armed robbery of the Guest House Suites at 8181 East 41st Street on June 20, 2010.  A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

An arrest warrant was also issued for 26-year-old Christine Wells, who is also wanted in several armed robberies.
