TULSA, Oklahoma -- For the second year in a row, Oklahoma senator Jim Inhofe says he'll boycott a Tulsa holiday tradition.

Last year, the downtown yuletide parade was renamed the Holiday Parade of Lights, instead of the Christmas Parade of Lights.

Inhofe calls it a "shameful attempt to take Christ, the true reason for our celebration, out of the parade's title." He also said "until the parade is again named the Christmas Parade of Lights, I will not participate."

Inhofe served as Tulsa's mayor from 1978 to 1984.
