STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma State University women's soccer team is set to play where no OSU women's team has played before, in the NCAA's tournament's "Elite Eight" round this Friday.

The Cowgirls are chock full of players from the Tulsa area.  Almost half of the 28 players on the roster are from Tulsa or surrounding towns.  Seniors Sarah Brown, Allyson Leggett and Katie Richardson even played on the same club team, which was coached by Justin Elkington, now an assistant coach for OSU.

One of the Cowgirls' two goals on Friday night was scored by Bixby's Megan Marchesano.
