JENKS, Oklahoma – It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Jenks.
The town held it's annual "Light's On" ceremony Thursday evening. News On 6 Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer helped kicked off the holiday season, leading the countdown to turn on the Christmas lights just after 6 p.m. Thursday.
The holiday celebration will continue into the weekend.
Sharyn Willard, Ambassador for the Jenks Chamber of Commerce, said merchants in the area will have extended hours all weekend long. There's also a parade Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
