Police Identify Driver Killed In Tulsa Rollover Wreck

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A 23-year-old man is dead after the car he was driving on 71st Street in Tulsa hit a tree and rolled several times at about 5 a.m. 

Tulsa police have identified him as Glen Phillips Jr. of Tulsa.

Tulsa Police say the wreck occurred just west of Mingo on 71^st between 89^th East Avenue and 92^nd East Avenue. 

Police shut down traffic in both directions on 71^st for about an hour while they investigated the crash. 

Police are still trying to determine what caused the crash and if the driver was going the wrong way on 71st Street, just before the crash.

The driver was taken to a Tulsa hospital where he died.
