SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma – A Sand Springs teen was charged Monday in connection with the stabbing death of his father.
The 15 year old was charged with first degree manslaughter as a youthful offender.
Because the teen was charged as a youthful offender, and not as an adult, News On 6 is not using his name.
The teen is accused of stabbing his father to death with a 16-inch military type ka-bar knife on November 1, 2010. Detectives said the two had gotten into an argument when the stabbing happened.
