CATOOSA, Oklahoma -- Catoosa police have released the name of the man who died after apparently catching a ride on a Burlington Northern freight train Saturday. Broken Arrow resident Dustin Lewis, age 30, died after falling from the train and being dragged a short distance.
"We have no idea why he was on the train," said Officer Courtney Bates of the Catoosa Police Department.
Officers had been called to the tracks on Denbo Street between Cherokee and Shawnee early Saturday morning after railroad workers noticed Lewis riding the train. When the officers arrived, they found him pinned under the train where he died a short time later.

Lewis was not a transient as initially thought but lived in nearby Broken Arrow, Bates said.
