TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is revved up about its new, state-of-the-art rescue air boat.
SkyNews6 caught the new boat on the Arkansas River during a training exercise Wednesday afternoon.
Money from a federal grant is paying for the boat which was built specifically for our type of environment. It can run in low water, marshy areas, even across sand bars.
The Sheriff's Office will use the boat for several things, including swift water rescues and dive team investigations.
