TULSA, Oklahoma -- Goodwill Industries opened a new donation center in Tulsa Friday. The new center is located at 41st and Peoria.
Workers say they've already had some people in to drop off items. The new center is open Monday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Noon – 6 p.m.
They hope being in Brookside will make it more convenient for Tulsans to give since donations are key to Goodwill's mission.
"It helps to generate revenue that funds those job training programs that put people to work in our community," said Nancy Webster, Goodwill Community Relations Director.
Last year, Goodwill says it was able to help more than 2,100 people with job training thanks to donations from the community.
