TULSA, Oklahoma -- The QuikTrip convenience store at Admiral Boulevard and Delaware Avenue was robbed early Sunday morning, according to Tulsa Police.
Officer Vernon McNeal said that at about 5:15 a.m. a man wearing all black entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. The man held his hand in his pocket in a manner that implied he had a weapon.
"The store employee did not recognize the man, but he is caught on camera and hopefully that will lead to something," McNeal said.
After getting money from the clerk, the man left in a newer model black sport utility vehicle and headed south on Delaware. He is described as a black male, 6 feet tall, 160 to 170 pounds with a goatee. He was wearing a black sweat suit and black baseball cap.
It was the second robbery of a QuikTrip this weekend. McNeal said the police had no reason to think the crimes were connected.
