TULSA, Oklahoma -- American Airlines is going pink to raise awareness about breast cancer. Here in Tulsa they honored one staff member recently diagnosed.

Tulsa is just one of many cities across the nation with the new look. Pink is everywhere, from balloons and streamers around the gate, ticket counter and baggage claim to the tarmac.

American brought in one of its planes painted with the iconic pink ribbon.

"That way they're touching every American city and they're even touching international cities," said Christy Southard, of the Tulsa Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Employees are holding bake sales and staging friendly competitions around the airport to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
