TULSA, Oklahoma -- Green Country will soon have a neighborhood of homes, geared toward senior citizens who like to stay active.
Developers broke ground Thursday on Hyde Park at Highway 75 and 81st Street. They said there's nothing like it in Tulsa. When it's complete, there will be more than 150 homes and many amenities.
"We're gonna have a Wii room where you can do the simulated golf," Charlie Wollmershauser. "We have the pub where we're gonna have get-togethers and parties and stuff like that."
Developers say there will also be indoor and outdoor sports facilities plus a pool and walking trails. They also said the homes will be energy efficient.
Several partners in the project are so excited about it that they've sold their homes to buy in Hyde Park.
