Pit Bull Attack Sends Tulsa Toddler To The Hospital

TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- A two-year-old Tulsa girl remains in a Tulsa hospital in serious condition after being mauled by a pit bull dog Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred at the Rose Rock Apartments near 17th and Memorial.

Tulsa Police continue to investigate exactly what happened. EMSA paramedics told The News On 6, the girl suffered some very serious injuries from the attack.

An eyewitness, who did not give us his name, the attack was rather brutal.

"It's like she's been in a war. I mean, even the mother had blood on her neck. And the baby was bleeding and screaming, I mean, just like somebody was just tearing stuff, flesh from her."

Both Tulsa Police and Tulsa Animal Control are involved in the investigation, but they wouldn't specify what happened to the dog.
