TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- A Jeep full of people leaving the Tulsa State Fair Saturday night crashed on the eastbound Broken Arrow Expressway just past 129th East Avenue.
The accident took place at about midnight, and Tulsa police would like to remind drivers to be cautious at that hour due to heavier traffic leaving the fairgrounds.
The red Jeep Liberty apparently veered off the roadway into a ditch, rolling up the embankment and landing on its top. The driver and five passengers were all wearing safety belts, and no one was injured.
Tulsa Police say no alcohol was involved, and they do not believe the driver was using a cell phone or another distracting device.
The cause of the accident was not known.
The group was accompanied by a large pink stuffed monkey won at the Tulsa State fair.
