Sand Springs Storage Building Destroyed By Fire

SAND SPRINGS, OKLAHOMA -- A Sand Springs family loses everything after fire early Tuesday morning destroys a storage building located behind their home.

The Sand Springs Fire Department started getting calls at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday about a fire in the alley at 8^th and Cleveland. 

When firefighters arrived they found the storage building engulfed in flames. 

They were able to wake the family up and get them out of the home in case the fire spread to the house. 

Firefighters contained the fire to the building. 

No dollar estimate was available of what was lost in the fire. 

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
