TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- Three men believed to be responsible for at least four robberies at three Tulsa apartment complexes late Wednesday and early Thursday morning have been arrested.
It all started around 11 p.m. Wednesday when Tulsa Police received a call about two robberies, one at the Tower Crossing Apartments and the other at the Bristol Park Apartments near 41st and Garnett.
About an hour and a half later, Tulsa Police got another robbery call about a robbery at the Silver Springs Apartments near 61st and Memorial.
The victim said three men walked up and stuck what he believed was a gun to his neck, punched him in the face and stole his cell phone. He was able to give police officers a description of the suspect's vehicle.
As Tulsa Police sent out the description, another officer spotted a car matching the description coming out of the Woodland Hills Mall parking lot and heading into the Stonegate Apartments at 71st and 89th East Avenue.
The officer pulled the car over. Three men were inside the car. The victim from the last robbery was able to ID all three as the suspects who robbed him.
They were identified as 21-year-old Howard Jones, 21-year-old Kiantre Belcher and 20-year-old Charles Roberson.
"Make sure that when you get out of your car or when you get out to go to your car, that you are looking around the area and if you see something that's not right, turn back around and go back inside," Sergeant Kurt Dodd, Tulsa Police Dept, said.
Tulsa Police also believe the trio is connected to an armed robbery at a business on 71st on Tuesday, September, 21, 2010. They say a clerk was leaving the Fashion Bug in the 11000 block of East 71st Street with a cash deposit bag at the time of the robbery.
All three were arrested and booked into the Tulsa County jail.
