TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- North and southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 169 are open at Pine Street following repairs to a power line and fiber optic line across the roadway. The exit ramps from east and westbound I-244 to northbound US-169 are also open.
Tulsa Police say a trackhoe struck the power line. Police say the trackhoe operator raised the boom causing it to connect with the overhead power lines.
The operator was not injured.
Tulsa Police diverted northbound traffic off at Pine. That traffic was then re-entering U.S. Highway 169 at 36th Street North. Southbound traffic on 169 was diverted off at Pine as well.
