TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- Tulsa Police are still looking for a man who they believe robbed two Tulsa motels late Sunday night within minutes of each other.
The first robbery happened at 10:30 p.m. at the Tulsa Inn and Suites on Skelly Drive just east of Memorial.
Police say a man entered the lobby of the motel, pulled a gun and told the clerk at the desk to hand over the money.
Police say the man then ran out the door, jumped into a car and headed up I-44 to another motel.
This time it was the Red Roof Inn at Skelly Drive and Yale.
Tulsa Police say like in the first robbery, the man started off chatting with the employee about a vacant room and then pulled out the gun and told the employee to empty the cash box.
The clerk complied and the suspect left in a late 80s model Chevy Caprice, brown in color.
The suspect is described as a black man, 5-foot 10-inches tall with an average build. He has a thin mustache and was wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt, white undershirt and tan shorts.
If you've seen this man or know anything about the robberies you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
