TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- A Tulsa Police officer credited seatbelts for the lack of injuries in a two-car rollover collision overnight Saturday.

A red Dodge Nitro turning onto the eastbound Creek Turnpike at Riverside Drive struck a black Jeep Liberty at about 1 a.m. Corporal Mark Secrist of the Tulsa Police Department said the Nitro ended up on its roof in the middle of the street with the female driver hanging upside down by her seatbelt.

"Everybody was wearing seatbelts, and it's amazing there were absolutely no injuries, as catastrophic as the vehicles look," Secrist said.
