Unique Marijuana Growing Operation Found In Western Tulsa County

TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA -- Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies discovered a unique marijuana growing operation while serving a search warrant at a residence Wednesday morning in the western part of the county.

Sheriff's deputies served the warrant at a home in the 3800 block of South 225th West Avenue.

During their search, deputies were led to the operation where they found marijuana growing in buckets which were hanging in trees near a field.

Tulsa County Sheriff's Office deputy Sergeant Shannon Clark told The News On 6 there were irrigation lines running to each of the buckets.

In all, deputies confiscated 11 marijuana plants.

Deputies arrested 51-year-old James M. Parker and booked him into the Tulsa County jail.
