TULSA, OKLAHOMA --Motorists who plan to drive U.S. Highway 75 in west Tulsa this Labor Day weekend will face a major headache.
All northbound lanes of Highway 75 at the I-44 junction will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday so crews can replace part of the bridge decking.
All northbound traffic will be routed onto I-44 to the Broken Arrow Expressway junction, where drivers can loop back to westbound I-44 to access northbound U.S. Highway 75.
Crews have been working to replace four bridge decks at the U.S. Highway 75 and I-44 junction since July.
The $2.3 million project is expected to be completed in early 2011, according to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
