McALESTER, OKLAHOMA -- A McAlester couple was arrested Tuesday after authorities say they violated their probation.

Jerry and Michelle McCormick were booked into the Pittsburg County jail on felony complaints of violation of probation, stalking, intimidation of a witness and false reporting of a crime.

Police say their investigation into this case goes back for almost a year and involved problems the McCormick's were having in their neighborhood.

McCormick is the assistant principal at McAlester High School and also the school's basketball coach.

After being booked into jail, both were released after posting a $10,000 bond.
