Truck Driver Found Dead In Cab After Tulsa Wreck Identified

TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- Tulsa Police have identified the driver of a semi who was found dead in his cab following a crash on a Tulsa street early Monday.

The driver was identified as David Leonard, 57 of Tecumseh, Nebraska.

Officers say it appears Leonard had a heart attack and died behind the wheel.

The crash happened at about 3:15 a.m. in the 100 block of South 122nd East Avenue.

Tulsa Police say the truck veered off the road, hit a business sign and then crossed the road, rolled through a parking lot and eventually stopped on an embankment.
