TULSA, OK -- Hundreds skipped the snooze button Saturday for some early morning exercise.

More than 1,200 people ran or walked in the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk.

This year the walk was held at Oral Roberts University.

Entry fees will help the more than five million Americans living with Alzheimer's.

"The money goes toward support programs for these families going through Alzheimer's, as well as research dollars to help find treatment and a cure for this terrible disease," said Jenna Schario, Alzheimer's Association.

Participants could pick from three courses, including a 5k. This is the 18th year for the event.
