TULSA, OK -- You have the chance to shape the future of historic Route 66 in West Tulsa.
There's a public meeting Tuesday to talk about streetscape concepts of Southwest Boulevard from 27th West Avenue to 33rd West Avenue.
The project includes a bronze artwork commemorating the historic Sue Bland Oil Well.
It was the first in Tulsa County and set in motion a chain of events that led to Tulsa being called "the oil capital of the world."
The meeting is Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. in the north building of Trinity Baptist Church. That's on the corner of 41st and Union.
