TULSA COUNTY -- A woman who died in a collision near Sperry Friday afternoon has been identified.

The accident happened about 2 p.m. on 86th Street North west of Highway 75.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Edna Briggs, 58, was driving westbound on 86th Street North when she crossed the center line and collided with a semi truck driving the opposite direction.

Troopers said Briggs' car slammed into the wall of the bridge over Bird Creek, came back across 86th Street North and hit a guard rail, coming to rest on its roof.
