MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA -- A Muskogee man has been charged in Muskogee County District Court with two counts each of violation of computer crimes act and possession/distribution of child pornography.
Kenneth Smith, 42, was arrested Wednesday, August, 18, 2010, by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation at his Muskogee apartment.
OSBI agents also confiscated Smith's computer.
The OSBI says an investigation was opened after an undercover agent in the OSBI's Internet Crimes Against Children unit began a conversation with Smith in an online chat room.
Those conversations according to the OSBI's Stan Florence led to their agency getting a search warrant of Smith's apartment.
Smith remains in the county jail where he is being held without bond.
