Broken Arrow Police In Search Of Fatal Hit And Run Witnesses

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- The Broken Arrow Police Department is asking for the public's help in regards to the death of a motorcyclist on East State Highway 51 in the early morning hours on June 26th.

Kevin Porter died after his motorcycle was struck by one vehicle, then his body was dragged a mile by another vehicle. The accident happened at about 1:00 a.m.

Since the incident, investigators have determined who was driving the second vehicle, (the one that dragged him) but still need information about the vehicle that first struck Porter.

Broken Arrow Police believe there are witnesses to this offense who have not yet come forward. Witnesses and other persons with information, or who may have seen any vehicles in the area between 81st and 91st Streets on Highway 51 during the time of the incident are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
