TULSA, OK -- A murder trial was scheduled to get underway Monday afternoon for a former Tulsa school teacher accused of killing his wife, but court officials say it has been postponed until Tuesday.

Tulsa County prosecutors say John Kastner shot and killed his wife, Lori, at their home in 2008, then tried to cover-up the crime by making it look like a botched home invasion.

Kastner was an English teacher at Webster High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Prosecutors are not seeking the death penalty.

The trial is taking place in Judge Clancy Smith's courtroom at the Tulsa County Courthouse.
