TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa teenager who raped an 11-year-old girl in a school restroom is going to prison.

Tulsa County District Judge William Kellough sentenced Donnie Johnson Friday to a total of 12 years, with seven of those to be spent in prison, the other five under probation.

Police say Donnie Johnson grabbed a sixth-grade girl as she walked down a hallway at Dove Science Academy in December of 2008. Prosecutors say he pushed her into a restroom and raped her.

Johnson was 17 at the time.  He was also a student at the charter school and was arrested at basketball practice.

He entered a blind plea in June and did not have a plea deal with the prosecution.

He will have to serve at least 85 percent of the sentence before being eligible for parole and will have to register as a sex offender when he's released.
