Broken Arrow Man Arrested On Child Pornography Complaints

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police arrested a 52-year-old Broken Arrow man Sunday after officers found 160 child porn videos and 180 child porn images on his computer.

David Bendell, Sr. was also booked into the Tulsa County jail on two charges of lewd molestation.

Police say the charges stemmed from incidents involving a 12-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy.

Tulsa Police's cyber crime unit found the video and the images after a search of Bendell's laptop.

Bendell remains in jail on $150,000 bond.

Bendell is the stepfather of convicted child rapist Brandon Brixey.  Brixey pleaded guilty to carjacking a van and raping an eight-year-old girl in June 2008. Brixey was sentenced to two life terms plus 85 years, to run back to back.
