TULSA, OK -- August 3rd is the next court date for a Tulsa man charged with leaving the scene of a fatality accident in mid-April.
Tyler Hill, 23, was arrested last Friday in connection with the hit and run accident on April 16.
Tulsa Police say 56-year-old Vernon Worley of Owasso was riding his bicycle in the early morning hours in the 3100 block of North Cincinnati when he was struck by what they believe was a Ford pickup truck.
Worley died two days later.
Hill is charged with leaving the scene of a fatality accident and first-degree manslaughter. He was booked into the Tulsa County jail, but following a Tulsa County court hearing this week, posted bond and was released.
