Possible Meth Lab May Have Sparked Tulsa Garage Fire

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police and Fire Departments responded to a suspicious fire at about 11 a.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of South Gary.

The fire was in a small, detached garage next to the residence. Flames and smoke were showing when firefighters arrived, according to Tulsa Fire District Chief Michael Atchison.

Police and fire investigators are working to determine if the blaze was caused by a meth lab, Atchison said.

No one was injured in the blaze.

There was a small amount of damage to a nearby garage.
